Deerfield Designs has been offering embroidery services for 13 years. It has been a very beneficial addition to our screen printing services both for our clients and for us. An embroidered baseball cap is a perfect complimentary item to a screen printed tee shirt design. Our machines allow for up to nine colors per design and our expert color matching will ensure your stitches look phenomenal.

    The first step in any embroidery job is to have your design or artwork digitized. Digitizing your design re-creates it into stitches. This is how the embroidery machines understand what to stitch, how to stitch and which colors to stitch at which point. Your digitized design is a .dst file and it determines how many stitches your designs consists of. Embroidery jobs are charged according to the amount of stitches and the volume of items to be embroidered. Here at Deerfield, we accumulate your quantities from the last year’s time to give you the best volume rate each time you order.

   There are certain limitations in embroidery when considering the fine details of any design. Embroidery does NOT show fine detail like a screen printed design can. There is also a size limitation of two inches on hat and cap embroidery orders. Certain garments or fabrics may require special handling, but this is rare since we’ve embroidered most the fabrics that are manufactured for such.

   We keep your digitized file in our system to make it easy for your re-orders. The same design you get digitized for a polo shirt’s left chest placement can later be re-sized to be placed on a baseball cap or tote bag. We can edit your design for changes in size, design elements, text addition or removal and font type. You pay for the digitizing and you own this file. We’ll store it for you the whole time and for any reason you need this file, we will send it anywhere you require.

   We also have thousands of stock designs already digitized in our inventory for you to choose from. We can add most any text in a variety of fonts to these designs to make them your own. The designs are arranged by category in detailed definitions like electrician, goats and lettuce. We’ll find you a design.
