What We Do

We do custom screen printing and embroidery as the major percentage our business. We have a full service graphics department that takes the art, or creates a design, in a digital format or from a paper napkin. From here, the design is turned into positives for burning screens or turned into a digitized file for the embroidery machines’ software. We store all your designs to make it easy for re-orders and we have a huge screen inventory that keeps you from being charged set-up costs if you re-order within a year’s time.

We also have a couple lines of pre-prints available on a variety of garments and other items as a minor percentage of our business. The last two years we have been working with a couple local illustrators to create a fresh new look in several lines of pre-prints. These lines are mainly available in the ‘mom and pop’ general stores all across Vermont and throughout New England. If you don’t go by these shops very much or can’t find a retailer near you, you can purchase many of our products here on this website in the catalog tab at the top of the page (coming soon).

Screen Printing

Deerfield Designs has been screen printing since 1978 and has seen the industry change throughout the years. But the same purpose remains the same: put this design on this item. Although tee shirts remain our typical garment to print, we have and can print on all garments.

Embroidery

Deerfield Designs has been offering embroidery services for 13 years. It has been a very beneficial addition to our screen printing services both for our clients and for us. An embroidered baseball cap is a perfect complimentary item to a screen printed tee shirt design. Our machines allow for up to nine colors per design and our expert color matching will ensure your stitches look phenomenal.

Green Printing

Deerfield and Co also offers "green" printing on hemp or organic cotton with QuantumOne. QuantumOne is non-phthalate, non-PVC Plastisol screen printing ink, specially formulated by Wilflex USA with the same high quality and print application standards that you would expect from the MX series inks. We recognize our responsibility to the environment and as good citizens and responsible business owners, we are doing our part to limit the negative affects of our business on the environment. Our eco-friendly printing options limit the hazardous chemicals that contribute to air and water pollution. It is an unavoidable fact of our business that some products are going to be harmful, but we are doing our socially and environmentally responsible part to provide other options.

Design

Our art at Deerfield Designs is a full service graphics studio. We can take your art or make you art. We can provide design service for all aspects of a production run and we create designs with color separations in mind for how it will print. We can create concepts for designs to be used in merchandising lines. We can provide color coordination with designs and the garments they are intended for. We can also provide custom illustrations for any event or special occasion that needs its own commemorative artwork. After two or three editing sessions, this art will be what you only had as an idea before.
